Today, with an installed capacity of 14.3 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) which is being upgraded to 18 MTPA by the end of FY 16, JSW Steel, $9 billion global conglomerate (approx.), has its plants’ located across 6 strategic locations in South and West India, namely, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. Going forward, the plan is to increase the overall capacity to 40 MTPA by 2025. JSW steel are expanding capacities at our existing sites and setting up plants in new locations. On the anvil, are two 10 million tonne Greenfield facilities.
