1. Creation, management, and authentication of user accounts/company profiles on the portal.
2. Registration and listing of products and services by sellers, and enabling buyers to browse, inquire, and connect with sellers.
3. Buyer-seller networking, business enquiries, matchmaking and marketplace interactions.
4. Communication regarding enquiries, notifications, updates, and policy alerts via email, WhatsApp, or SMS.
5. Showcasing, advertising, and exploring products and services.
6. Enabling business communication between CII member and non-member companies.
7. Facilitation of services by authorized third-party providers for IT, communications, platform maintenance, and support.

The Data collected may include the following

1. Personal information: Name, designation, login credentials, encrypted password, email, phone number (including WhatsA pp).
2. Company information: Company name, logo, member code, GST number, business profile, company video.
3. Product/service information: Business profile information, Product details, images, categories/sectors of interest, keywords, and platform usage details.

1. The information I provided will be displayed or made accessible on the CII Marketplace platform and related interfaces, strictly to facilitate product/service discovery, networking, and platform operations.
2. I am entitled, under the DPDP Act, to exercise my rights including access, correction, and withdrawal of consent by writing to CII at privacy@cii.in.

4. I understand that withdrawal of consent may affect my, or my organisation’s, access to the CII Marketplace platform, including the ability to showcase products/services, interact with buyers or sellers, request or receive product/service updates and receive related communications or updates.
5. CII shall not be liable for any loss, unauthorized access, or misuse of data where CII has taken all adequate measures to ensure safe custody of the data and the incident is beyond CII’s reasonable control.
6. CII shall not be responsible for the nature, relevance, or frequency of communications (including calls, messages, emails, or other correspondence) that may be received as a consequence of lawful publication or sharing of information in accordance with this consent.
7. I acknowledge that I may raise any grievance relating to processing of personal data by writing to CII at marketplace@cii.in, in accordance with the DPDP Act.
8. Personal and company data may be shared with authorised third-party service providers engaged by CII for purposes such as user authentication and platform security, IT infrastructure management, technical support, platform maintenance, and communication services including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and phone calls. All such third-party service providers are contractually obligated to maintain equivalent data protection and security standards as required under applicable law.
9. Data will be retained as long as the platform is operational and will continue to be retained unless and until CII receives a written request for withdrawal or cessation. Thereafter, data may be retained for legitimate business purposes, certification verification, legal or regulatory compliance, audit, dispute resolution, archival, or record-keeping requirements, and will then be securely deleted or anonymised, as applicable.
10. The CII Marketplace does not facilitate or process monetary transactions between buyers and sellers. All interactions are strictly for networking, product/service discovery, and communication purposes.
