The PENWELD S from Leister is a solid, external-air operated welding device for plastic welding. The handy hot air welder is available in various performance classes. All device variations have a particularly powerful and durable heating element. Compactly built, the PENWELD S welds plastic in tight spaces and is ideal for hot gas draw welding of detailed plastic tanks, air washers, pump wells and more.
For this purpose, the PENWELD S can be operated with push-fit nozzles and, above all, with professional, high-quality Leister screw-on nozzles. The recessed temperature setting knob in the handle allows very precise setting and prevents unintentional adjustment of the hot air temperature, which increases process safety. The electronic components of the PENWELD S are, as usual with Leister, specially encased and protected against moisture and contamination. Furthermore, the hot air welder has been equipped with various important protective functions that ensure its reliability and safe welding processes in various applications for a long time. The particularly high-quality, sturdy air hose with integrated power cable is designed for harsh industrial environments, which makes it very durable. In addition, the hose is connected to the PENWELD S by means of a connection that can be rotated 310 degrees, which increases the user’s working freedom. For individual needs, the external-air plastic welding unit can be operated with different Leister air sources such as compressors and blowers. The PENWELD S is available in various versions for specific applications: air hoses of different lengths (3 m and 8 m), various power levels (1000 W and 1550 W) and connection for plug-in or screw-in nozzles.
