Founded in 1991, it began the journey by producing Rigid PVC Electric Conduits of international standard. It was the very first company to receive ISI certification for electrical conduits manufacturing in Kerala. In the 1990's, to better serve the water management in the industrial and housing sectors, BALCO moved towards manufacturing uPVC pipes and later added Rigid PVC Electric Conduit Fittings, Solvent Cement, Garden Hoses uPVC pipe fittings and Water Tanks to the list of products. Today, BALCO manufactures products in internationally accepted standards. BALCO® has a legacy and goodwill of serving the customers with world class products for over 3 decades, with ISI and ISO 9000:2015 certification on all its products.
